Assam Legislative Assembly

Being Assam Assembly the building was conceptualized with local style of architecture. This was attained by conglomeration with new technology to cover large volumes of column-free spaces by sleek steel structural members and clad with lightweight insulating composite materials. For this large space to be lit up naturally during daytime a central skylight with reflecting mirrors lets in pleasant diffused daylight as well as saves energy spent on illumination during the day.
